Under the laws of GDPR, all of your information will be kept private and confidential. We as a company must have a lawful basis for any use of your personal data. This may be because data is necessary for us to perform under our contract with you because you have consented to the use of your personal data or because it is in our legitimate business interests to use it.
Your personal data will only be used for one of the following purposes.

How long will. We keep your personal data?
We will only keep this as long as necessary to deliver our service. Your personal data will be kept for the following periods (or, where there is no fixed period, the following factors will be used to determine how long it is kept.

If you require a copy of the information that we hold on you please request it in writing, giving the details i.e. name, address, pet name.
What are my rights?
Under GDPR you have the following rights which we will always work to uphold.
• The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data. This Privacy Notice should tell you everything you need to know, but you can always contact us to find out more or to ask any questions using the details.
• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal data held by us is inaccurate or incomplete. • The right to be forgotten, i.e. the right to ask us to delete or otherwise dispose of any of your personal data that we have.
• The right to restrict (i.e. prevent) the processing of your personal data.
• The right to object to us using your personal data for a particular purpose or purposes.
• The right to data portability. This means that, if you have provided personal data to us directly, we are using it with your consent or for the performance of a contract, and that data is processed using automated means, you can ask us for a copy of that personal data to re-use with another service or business in many cases.
Use of the services of Fluffies Pet Care will be deemed acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Fluffies Pet Care is prepared to consider changes - but these will only be effective if signed by Fluffies pet care.
Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of Fluffie’s Pet Care (FPC) services is deemed acceptance of our, Privacy Statement, Terms and Conditions and an agreement to pay our fees on time as agreed to Sarah Hill.
An in-home consultation is required, prior to reservations, FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS.
FPC reserves the right to either impose supplementary charges and/or terminate this agreement if the assignment changes from the description given at the consultation. In the event that additional items need to be purchased in the absence of the client – i.e. pet food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary items that contribute to the health and wellbeing of your pet, the pet service provider will purchase these, retain a receipt and the pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items on their return.
Dog walking and Pet pop in service
FPC will require payment by the beginning of the week in advance of any services being delivered. If Cash is being paid this must be left at the property. Cheques will need to be given a minimum of 3 working days in advance of any services required, and payment by Bacs must have cleared before any services are delivered.
Boarding Services
Full payment of fees is due at time of booking in order to reserve your pets place.
If you return home early you are still required to pay the full amount agreed.
If the home from home boarding or pet sitting exceeds the time reserved, you must contact us immediately, as we do not guarantee availability. Any remaining cost from this will be due as soon as you return.
If there is any additional cost incurred, i.e. travel outside of the agreement, or to the vet, this will be charged at .45p per mile.
The client should inform Fluffies pet care of any cancellation, change or possible extension to booking dates to avoid inconvenience to other clients and to ensure Fluffies Pet Care availability.
Conditions and Payment
In the event of cancellations that are notified to us in writing more than 14 working days prior to the start of the booking period, the fee will either be refunded in full or held over to be used on a subsequent booking. Cancellations made later than this will result in the fee being forfeited
Refund policy.
Refunds will be applied as follows and is from the date of initial booking:
0-7 working days - No Refund
7-14 working days - 50% credit for future pet pop in / dog walking, home boarding
14-21 working days - 50% credit for future pet sitting/walking, boarding and 50% monies refunded
21 working days + - full monies refund
Refunds will be credited to your account within 7 working days from notice of cancellation.
Late Payment
Unpaid invoices exceeding seven days will incur a late payment fee. This is a small sanctioned fee that Fluffies Pet Care will impose as reimbursement for the nuisance of processing a late payment.
Regular unpaid invoices will render future booking liable to cancellation without notice and without any liability on the part of Fluffies Pet Care.
Photography Permission
The client grants Fluffies Pet Care the right to take photographs of their pet(s), and to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. They may use such photographs of said pet(s) with or without clients name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
Conditions for Fluffies Pet Care
Fluffies Pet Care will not allowing access to client premises to anybody, other than a person authorised to do so by the client. FPC does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home prior to, during or immediately after our services have been rendered. Please inform us at the time of consultation of anyone who may have access to your home while you are out or away. This includes cleaning services, maintenance personnel, friends, family and neighbours.
Fluffies Pet care does have liability insurance, however it is strongly recommended all clients pets are insured through the client. FPC will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your pet, any theft or damage to your property or injury/illness to your pet unless we can be shown to be negligent
Fluffies Pet care will require details of the insurance company, policy number and contact telephone number, also details of the vet responsible for your pet’s welfare prior to your pet coming to stay.
Pet Provisions for Boarders
Clients will be responsible for ensuring pet toys/food/treats, bedding, lead and collar are readily available during their absences in order that Fluffies Pet Care can make sure their pets play, rest and dietary needs are met.
Dog walks
Dogs being walked will require, a collar, lead, identification disk, they also require to be fully vaccinated, flead and worm treated. In the case of pet care delivered in your home or dogs walked, FPC is not responsible for carpet/ flooring stains created by your pet(s). We request that you provide towels, cleaning products and bin bags.
If 24 hrs. Cancellation notice is not given by the client FPC will charge full price for that walk.
FPC will not feed dogs in the hour before or after a walk because of the risk to your dog of gastric torsion (unless the client normally feeds at these times/is willing to accept all responsibility of risks stated above).
FPC will walk all dogs on leads (unless an “Off Lead Permission Form is completed).
FPC cannot walk or board ill dogs or dogs known to have an infection, even on a one to one basis, because of the risk of cross infection.
Pet Pop in
Fluffies will require all food stuffs, cleaning products in the case of litter tray and cages, possibly toys/ grooming products to help stimulate and care for your pet in your absence.
For pop-in visits whilst the owner is on holiday FPC will obtain two copies of your house key during the in-home consultation (unless there is another key holder who is easily contactable locally). One key will be held by the pet sitter while the other key will be coded for security and kept separately to be used only in the case of an emergency or lockout
FPC will keep all cats indoors (unless a “Cat outside Access Disclaimer -cat flaps- form is completed).
FPC will follow instructions to administer medications as directed, providing the “Permission to Administer Medicine” form is completed, but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result.
FPC reserves the right to deny or terminate service because of safety or financial concerns.
Please inform us of any changes regarding your contact numbers, your pet’s care needs, your emergency contact details and other pertinent information.
Extreme weather conditions may mean a curtailment or cancellation of our services at short notice (we will keep your pet company if we can get there).
Under no circumstances will the FPC service any pet that has any form of active contagious illness. If Sarah Hill is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the clients pet(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result.
Although every care is taken to prevent contact with dogs with Kennel Cough, FPC cannot be held liable for your dog contracting Kennel Cough. We strongly advise you discuss a vaccination with your vet. We require all dogs to be vaccinated for this prior to boarding.
FPC aims to give as much notice as possible of holidays (for dog walks). Should we not be able to fulfil a walk or visit ourselves we will try and recommend an alternative person or refund for that walk or visit.
If you would like to be invoiced please advise at time of booking, funds must be cleared before dog/s are dropped off.
Public and bank holidays will be charged at a higher rate
